Michael Mayhugh brings contact-first value and clean defense to Marist’s outfield
In the 2026 season, Michael Mayhugh has been a depth piece for Marist with 12 games played and nine starts, and he’s shown a low-risk profile with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage while contributing a bunt RBI and sacrifice-fly run production in team coverage[1][4][5]. His offensive line has been modest in 2026, but the appeal is the glue-guy skill set: disciplined, situational, and defensively reliable rather than flashy[3][4]. If a team wants a steady outfielder who can execute small-ball details and handle his reps cleanly, Mayhugh fits that mold[1][4].
