Texas State’s Ethan Montalvo: a proven shot-maker with veteran guard toughness
Ethan Montalvo is a 6-foot guard who built his Texas State reputation as a reliable perimeter scorer and disruptive defender, finishing his Bobcats tenure with 104 career three-pointers and 20 steals in one season, while averaging 10.9 points and shooting 87.2% from the free-throw line in 2015-16. He’s the kind of guard who can tilt a game with timely threes, bring steady effort on both ends, and fit a team that values spacing, toughness, and low-drama production. If you want a guard who competes, shoots, and raises the floor, he’s the type.
