VCU RHP Chase Nystrom: Depth Arm with Limited College Track Record
Nystrom is a right-handed pitcher for VCU who has already been part of an Atlantic 10 championship roster, but his college resume is still light, with a current VCU career high of 2.0 innings and 2 strikeouts in an outing this spring. His value is more about projection than production right now: a 6-foot-2, 190-pound righty with two-way background and enough athleticism to stay on the radar, but he needs more consistent college innings to prove he can be trusted in higher-leverage work. In short, he looks like a developmental fit, not an instant-impact arm.[4][5]
