UAPB’s 5'10" junior catcher still looks like a roster-level mystery with upside
In the 2026 season, Taiowa Costello is listed on Arkansas-Pine Bluff’s baseball roster as a junior catcher, but the public team page shows no available season or career statistics, so there is no verified game-production trail to lean on yet. The value play here is profile and position: a catcher’s job is earning trust, handling pitchers, and bringing edge every day, and Costello’s size/role suggest a grinder’s fit if he can defend the run game and add consistent contact. In short: intriguing depth piece, but not yet a data-backed headline act.
