Josh Furtado brings strikeout bite and bullpen poise to Morehead State
In the 2026 season, Josh Furtado has been a useful right-handed relief arm for Morehead State, working 11.1 innings with 13 strikeouts, a sign that his out-pitch plays well in pressure spots.[3][4] He’s the kind of reliever who can steady a game and escape jams, and that competitive, team-first mindset shows up in his own comments about loving the role of getting teammates out of trouble.[1] He’s not a flashy headline machine, but if a team wants a tough, experienced bullpen piece with some swing-and-miss ability, he’s a fit worth paying attention to.[1][3]
