Wake Forest’s high-leg-rocket kicker with dependable kickoff juice
In the 2025 season, Caleb Carlson was Wake Forest’s kickoff workhorse, handling 72 kickoffs and producing 49 touchbacks for a 68.1% touchback rate, which is the kind of hidden field-position edge coaches love. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 210 pounds and shows a strong leg (86 kick power, 68 accuracy in public ratings), making him valuable if your team wants a kicker who can flip the field and avoid return chaos. The differentiator: he looks built for consistency and leverage, not just highlight-distance drama.
