Freshman guard Jessica Roberts brings hometown energy to Western New Mexico
Jessica Roberts is a 5'6" freshman guard from Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Western New Mexico’s roster lists her as an active point guard for the 2026-27 season[1][2]. ESPN currently shows no official college stat line yet, so the best read is projection: she’s a local guard with quick-twitch fit at the lead-guard spot, and her high school track record points to disruptive defense and playmaking potential rather than volume scoring[1][3]. If you want a steady, feisty floor general with upside, she’s worth a close watch.
