Versatile, high-motor forward who brings rebounding and defensive grit
Adekoya is a tough, multi-purpose forward whose value shows up in the dirty work: he rebounds, defends, and plays with visible hustle, traits that made him central to Leicester’s strong defensive identity and still translate to his pro-and-college profile. In Valparaiso’s 2016-17 season, he averaged 6.1 points and 4.1 rebounds while ranking third on the team in rebounding and second in steals, and later he remained a rotation piece who could chip in efficiently across multiple leagues. If you want a physical, team-first forward who adds intensity and versatility rather than just box-score volume, he’s a sensible fit.
