Georgi Funtarov brings size, international experience, and a steady role-player profile to UC Davis
Funtarov is a 6'8" forward whose value is built more on versatility and basketball IQ than big scoring numbers: his UC Davis career line shows modest but steady production, with strong rebounding and workable efficiency for a connective frontcourt piece.[3][4] He’s the kind of player who can fit a team needing length, experience, and low-ego support minutes, though his current statistical impact appears limited compared with higher-usage forwards.[2][3] For context, his profile includes an international background from Bulgaria and an established college résumé, which can matter for maturity and adaptability.[4][7]
