Eliza Maloney gives Toledo a versatile, high-IQ outfield bat with pop
Maloney has been a steady, glove-first outfielder who can also change a game with timely power; in the 2025 season she hit .305 with 3 home runs, 10 RBI, 6 stolen bases, and 12 walks, and in 2026 she has already shown she can leave the yard again with a solo homer against Longwood. She also brings strong academic and competitiveness markers, earning CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-MAC recognition, which fits a coach looking for a reliable, disciplined role player who impacts the game beyond raw stats.[1][3][11]
