App State RHP Conner Barozzino brings swing-and-miss upside, but his role was uneven in 2026
Barozzino is a power-armed right-hander whose best trait has been bat-missing ability: as a true freshman in 2025, he struck out 30 in 31.1 innings over 19 relief appearances, and in 2024 high school play he posted a 1.41 ERA with 94 strikeouts in 59.2 innings. In 2026, App State used him in nine appearances with six starts, but he missed about a month and finished with a 9.37 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 16.1 innings, though he closed with his best outing — five innings and one run at Georgia State. He fits best as a developmental arm if your staff values upside, toughness, and strikeout potential over immediate polish.
