Jimmy Bell brings glove-first value and developmental upside behind the plate
Jimmy Bell enters Campbell as a freshman catcher with a profile that screams defensive utility and upside rather than flash, and the key fit question is whether your roster needs a steady backstop who can grow into the bat. Public roster listings identify him as a catcher at Campbell, but there are no readily available 2026 game stats yet, so the strongest takeaway is projection: Bell looks like the kind of player who can add value through receiving, game management, and everyday reliability while he develops offensively.
