Favor Bate brings disruptive edge-rush upside to Boston College’s front
Favor Bate is a **6'1", 249-pound junior defensive lineman** at Boston College who showed real rotational value in 2025, playing all 12 games with three starts and logging **14 tackles, 2 quarterback hits, 2 pass breakups, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 sack**. His calling cards are burst, pursuit, and effort—he also carried over production from Merrimack, where he posted **2.5 sacks** in 2024. He looks like a fit for teams wanting a high-motor edge defender who can create pressure without needing to be the centerpiece of a front.
