In the 2025-26 season, freshman guard Carley Hamilton gave McNeese a real bench spark, highlighted by a career-high 13 points in the Southland Conference tournament semifinals and a team-best 86.5% free-throw mark. She also averaged 4.2 points and 1.4 rebounds while showing the kind of competitive edge coaches love: she was praised by McNeese’s staff as a “true competitor” with strong work ethic and leadership. A Shreveport native and state title winner, she looks like a guard who can score in bunches and fit a winning locker room.
