Derrick Alston Jr. brings a pro-ready scoring package to Boise State
In the 2024-25 season, Derrick Alston Jr. was Boise State’s go-to scorer, averaging 17.3 points and 98 assists while becoming the program’s 31st 1,000-point scorer and finishing with 554 points, No. 11 in school single-season history. He profiles as a long, skilled guard who can create his own shot, stretch defenses, and carry a heavy offensive load; the caveat is that he’s more scorer-facilitator than pure table-setter. If your team wants a veteran, high-usage wing-guard who can bend a game, he’s a strong fit.
