Michael Wilder brings Big West-tested two-way value and elite shooting pedigree
Michael Wilder is best known as a proven UC Irvine guard/forward who was a 1,000-point scorer, a second-team All-Big West pick as a junior, and one of the program’s all-time perimeter threats, ranking No. 3 in school history with 224 three-pointers. He also filled the stat sheet with 596 rebounds and 272 assists, which suggests a versatile, winning-style player rather than just a scorer. For a team, the appeal is his combination of shooting, connectivity, and toughness—exactly the kind of low-drama, high-IQ piece coaches love.
