Dayton’s Alejandro Sardinas brings steady infield value with contact ability and versatility
In the 2026 season, Alejandro Sardinas has been a useful middle-infield contributor for Dayton, starting 10 games at shortstop and appearing in 22, while batting 13-for-45 with two doubles, two RBI, and seven runs scored.[4] His profile suggests a player who can help with contact, coverage up the middle, and lineup flexibility rather than pure power, and his earlier 2025 numbers show he already had college at-bats under his belt.[6] If you need a dependable infield option with a shortstop skill set and room to keep growing, he is a credible fit.[4][6]
