Luke Waters is an all-around Sun Belt impact bat for ODU
In the 2024 season, Waters was one of Old Dominion’s most complete offensive players, leading the Monarchs in batting average (.320), slugging (.522) and hits (65) while adding 10 home runs, 18 steals and strong run production across 53 starts.[1] What makes him especially valuable is the blend: he can hit for average, drive the ball, run the bases, and hold his own defensively in right field with a .968 fielding percentage.[1] His All-Sun Belt Second Team selection and several big multi-hit, multi-RBI games point to a dependable, high-energy player who fits a lineup needing both consistency and punch.[1]
