Mason Capers is a 6-foot-4, 230-pound tight end for Elon with a recruiting profile built on red-zone potential, physical upside, and enough pass-catching polish to post 22 catches for 210 yards and 3 touchdowns as a high school senior in 2021. Elon’s roster and bio pages list him as a tight end, but they do not show current 2026 game production, so the cleanest read is that he’s still more projection than proven stat-sheet star. If a team wants a long, athletic TE who can grow into an assignment-sound role, Capers looks like a smart bet.
