Gunnar Greenwald brings blue-collar tight end value to USF
In the 2024 season, Gunnar Greenwald appeared in 11 games for South Florida and was praised as a strong run blocker who helped fuel a Bulls ground game that produced 2,343 rushing yards and 34 touchdowns; his offensive value has been more about trench work than splash plays. He’s also shown he can catch when called on—he had four receptions for 17 yards and a touchdown in 2023, after entering USF as a former receiver and a three-star recruit ranked No. 12 nationally at tight end by ESPN. If your team wants a physical, high-effort TE who does the dirty work and has untapped receiving upside, he’s a fit.
