Princeton lefty Jackson Baldrate is a versatile inning-eater with upside
Jackson Baldrate, Princeton’s junior left-handed pitcher in the 2026 season, has already shown he can handle multiple roles: he made 11 appearances and three starts in 2025, logging 25.2 innings, and has also worked short relief this spring, including a clean inning against Winthrop in 2026. His calling card is flexibility and poise more than gaudy strikeout totals, which fits a staff that needs steady, adaptable arms. The fit question: if your team values strike-throwing, matchup utility, and a pitcher who can survive in the Ivy grind, Baldrate has real appeal.
