Jonathan Agumadu brings length, edge and linebacker upside to UNC
In the 2025 season, Jonathan Agumadu appeared in 11 of North Carolina’s 12 games and finished with 10 tackles, showing developmental depth more than headline production so far. He stands out for his 6-2, 220-pound frame, his versatility after switching from offense to linebacker in high school, and his reputation as a hard-working, high-academic, physical player who produced six sacks as a senior at McKinney. He was a three-star caliber recruit with solid positional rankings, and UNC appears to value him as a long-term fit with four years of eligibility left.
