Stanford LHP Andrew Shaw brings size, strikeout ability, and a polished mound presence
Andrew Shaw enters Stanford as a **6-foot-3 left-handed pitcher** with a strong track record of missing bats, highlighted by **75 strikeouts in 50 innings** as a senior at Sequoyah in 2025. He has been recognized for his command, competitiveness, and baseball IQ, with recruiting notes describing him as mentally strong on the mound and equipped with a changeup and slider mix. The fit is appealing for a team that values a **lefty with projection, strike-throwing feel, and starter traits** rather than pure velocity alone.
