Clara Hudgens brings clutch bat and steady outfield presence to Coastal Carolina
Hudgens is a left-handed-hitting outfielder whose value shows up in pressure moments: she delivered a two-run single to tie Appalachian State and had multiple multi-hit, multi-RBI performances as a freshman at Coastal Carolina. The early-career résumé also includes academic recognition, which supports the picture of a disciplined, dependable fit rather than a flash-only prospect. She profiles as a contact-oriented table-setter with enough situational hitting to matter in late-game spots, making her a sensible fit for a team that wants reliability, competitiveness, and upside in the outfield.
