Janiya Mitchell brings steady senior guard value for Carolina University
In the 2025-26 season, Janiya Mitchell is a senior guard for Carolina University after developing through the Bruins’ rotation and returning on a roster that the program highlighted as bringing back key pieces from a 15-9 team.[1][4][7] Her profile points to dependable backcourt depth rather than headline-grabbing volume: she’s a compact 5-5 guard who has remained in the program’s guard-heavy mix, and Carolina’s own stats page shows her contributing in limited minutes while staying efficient with her chances.[2][4] If you want a low-drama, experienced guard who fits a team-first system, she’s the kind of player coaches tend to trust.[1][3]
