Tripp Woytowicz brings a polished two-sport competitor’s edge to Richmond’s mound
Woytowicz arrives at Richmond as a freshman right-hander from Deerfield Academy with a strong prep résumé: All-CNEPSBL League and All-NEPSAC honors, plus a No. 1 New England Baseball Journal team ranking after helping Deerfield go 16-4 in 2024. He stands 5-11, 190, and profiles as a competitive strike-thrower with proven winning habits and toughness from being a four-year letterman in hockey and a golf qualifier. Why care? He looks like a high-motor depth arm with upside, especially if your staff values athleticism, multi-sport coordination, and a guy who’s used to helping good teams win.
