Andrew Cheever is a 6-foot-2 right-hander with upside, but Merrimack has not posted 2026 stats yet
Cheever is a sophomore right-handed pitcher at Merrimack whose profile is built more on projection than public production right now, with the roster listing him at 6-foot-2 and moving from infielder/pitcher as a freshman to pitcher-only in 2026. Because Merrimack does not currently show season statistics for him, the best read is that he is still in development mode; that can make him appealing if you value a young arm with two-way background, athletic upside, and room to grow rather than a finished product.
