Michael Cooper is Wright State’s freshman bucket-getter with poise beyond his years
In the 2025-26 season, Michael Cooper led Wright State with 13.4 points per game while adding 2.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and a strong 80.5% at the line, which helped earn him Horizon League All-Freshman honors. He’s a 6-foot-3 guard who can score efficiently from the floor (44.3%) and from deep (35.6%), and he showed real late-game nerve — including a 25-point semifinal outburst in the 2026 Horizon League tournament. If your team wants a young guard who can create offense, handle pressure, and keep improving, he’s absolutely worth caring about.
