Three-Time Region POY and State Champion INF/OF Joins Georgia Tech with Elite Leadership and Versatility
Judson Hartwell, a 6-3, 215-pound freshman INF/OF for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, brings a championship pedigree as a three-time Region Player of the Year and back-to-back state champion from Prince Avenue Christian, where he earned Georgia Dugout Club Single A Player of the Year honors in 2023 and 2024 [2][4]. His differentiators include elite leadership—described by his high school athletic director as a leader on and off the field—and rare versatility to play both infield and outfield with a right-handed swing [2]. While official 2026 college stats are still emerging as of late April 2026, his intensity, winning mentality, and business administration focus signal a high-floor prospect ready to contribute immediately [1][4]. He’s a strong fit for teams seeking a versatile, battle-tested player with proven intensity and a track record of elevating teammates.
