steady Santa Clara bullpen arm with a swing-and-miss edge
Jack Lazark has emerged as a useful right-handed reliever for Santa Clara in the 2026 season, highlighted by a first career win and a clean 1.1-inning shutdown against Pittsburgh on March 10, 2026. He’s not a headline-grabbing flamethrower, but the appeal is pretty simple: he competes, throws strikes, and can handle multiple innings when the Broncos need stability. His 2026 line shows a 6.75 ERA across 14.2 innings, so the results have been mixed, but his ability to work out of the pen and give Santa Clara length makes him a practical fit for a staff that values depth.
