Texas State’s versatile, older-school forward with real rim feel
Reid Koenen brings veteran forward value with size, toughness, and a reliable offensive touch; in Texas State’s historical records, he showed he could score efficiently around the basket and make winning plays, including a 24-point outing and a 42-point career eruption during his Bobcats run. He profiles as the kind of player coaches trust for energy, rebounding, and physicality more than flash, which makes him a fit for teams that want a glue guy who can handle contact and stay composed. The big question: whether his impact translates to today’s roster need, because his most documented Bobcats production came in earlier seasons.
