SIU Salukis Forward with Solid Bench Production (2017-18)
Austin Weiher, a 6-8 forward for the Southern Illinois Salukis, averaged 2.3 points, 1.0 rebound, and 0.2 assists per game at 46.2% FG in the 2017-18 season as a freshman, providing reliable depth off the bench without major injuries. His length and athleticism from Kent, WA, make him a gritty rebounder and defender, ideal for teams needing versatile big-man minutes in mid-major rotations—undrafted in 2019 but progressed to pro ball like TBL's Enid Outlaws, showing untapped upside for developmental programs.
