Grabovskaia brings size, grit, and a nasty rebounding punch to Washington
In the 2025-26 season, 6-foot-5 senior center Yulia Grabovskaia has already flashed real value for Washington, including a career-high 17 rebounds in a win over Rutgers and double-figure scoring in multiple games. She looks like the classic glue-big: physical on the glass, capable of finishing efficiently inside, and willing to do the dirty work that makes a team harder to play against. At Michigan in the 2024-25 season, she averaged 5.3 points and 4.1 rebounds, and Washington’s staff clearly sees her as a need-filling transfer who raises the Huskies’ toughness and interior depth.
