Gavin Caston brings veteran bat speed and timely pop to Alcorn State
In the 2026 season, Gavin Caston has shown he can impact games in the middle of the lineup, including a pinch-hit solo home run against Alabama A&M and an RBI double at HCU, while his 2025 Alcorn State production featured clutch RBI work and a stolen base threat. He profiles as a physical, 6-foot-3 outfielder with experience, gap-to-gap damage, and enough instinct to create extra bases when the Braves need a spark. If you want a steady, experienced bat with situational upside rather than pure highlight-reel tools, he’s a pretty useful fit.
