Mercedes Flores brings outfield upside and a developmental profile for UIW
Mercedes Flores is a young **Incarnate Word outfielder** whose value right now appears to be more about *projection and tools* than a long statistical track record, since UIW lists no 2026 or career stats for her yet. Recruiting information identifies her as a **right-handed thrower** with experience in **center field** and **shortstop**, which suggests versatility and athleticism that can fit a roster needing defensive range and adaptability. Because there are no public college performance numbers available yet, she profiles as a player to watch for upside rather than a proven production piece.
