Trey Swygart emerging as a two-way Freshman All-American for Portland
Swygart is already standing out as a high-impact two-way piece for Portland: in 2025 he earned Perfect Game Freshman All-American honors and All-WCC Freshman Team recognition, after also winning WCC Freshman of the Week. He showed both upside and polish by batting .455 in one recent four-game stretch with a homer, and his profile suggests a player who can help in multiple roles rather than just fill one spot. For a team, the appeal is upside, versatility, and early production from a freshman with real momentum.
