UNI's Legendary 3-Point King Matt Bohannon: All-Time Panthers Sniper with Family Hoops Pedigree
Matt Bohannon etched his name in UNI history as the Panthers' all-time leader in career 3-pointers made (268) and attempted (690) through his redshirt senior 2015-16 season, where he started all 36 games, averaged 11.5 PPG, and drained 3+ threes in 20 contests en route to honorable mention All-MVC honors. A relentless shooter from a basketball dynasty family (four D1 brothers, including Iowa's Jordan), his clutch volume shooting, defensive grit (like stripping VCU's guards), and Iowa hoops royalty make him a proven differentiator—ideal for teams craving spacing, leadership, and battle-tested intensity post his 2016 undrafted exit.
