veteran Arkansas utility bat with proven high-school pedigree
In the 2026 season, Jayden Wells was a junior utility player for Arkansas and appeared in 11 games while scoring 5 runs, a small but useful glimpse of her role on a deep roster. Wells stands out for versatility, Arkansas roots, and a strong pre-college résumé: she was ranked No. 27 in Extra Inning Softball’s 2023 Extra Elite 100, hit .475 as a high-school junior, and paired that with a .597 on-base percentage and 1.580 OPS. She looks like a fit for teams that value athletic depth, contact potential, and a player who can plug gaps without blinking.
