Wells enters his senior season at Eastern Washington as one of the FCS’s more proven defensive backs, earning preseason All-American recognition after an All-Big Sky 2024 campaign in which he totaled 12 pass breakups, second in the conference and 16th in the FCS. He has also shown he can handle real workload, with 38 games played and a career-best 6.0 tackles against Montana, while his veteran presence is a clear plus in a secondary. At 5-foot-10 with solid athletic testing, he projects as a competitive, experienced CB who fits teams valuing discipline, quick reaction, and disruptiveness in coverage.
