P.J. Holmes brings size, pedigree, and upside to Colgate’s receiver room
In the 2025 season, P.J. Holmes entered Colgate as a 6-foot-2, 200-pound freshman receiver with a strong prep résumé from Malvern Prep, where he earned Second Team All-Inter AC and helped win back-to-back conference titles. He did not see game action as a first-year player, so the appeal is projection: a bigger target with competitive basketball/track background, good academic habits, and a frame that can hold up in physical football. He looks like a developmental fit if a team wants length, toughness, and long-term upside at WR.
