Brenden Moehnke is a big-bodied Iona righty with upside and room to climb
Moehnke, a 6-foot-3, 210-pound right-handed pitcher at Iona, brings size and a starter’s build that can play in the midweek or bullpen grinder role if he keeps trending up. Public roster information lists him on the 2027 Iona baseball roster, but there are no posted collegiate statistics yet, so the real story is projection: a physical arm with developmental runway rather than a finished product. He looks like the kind of arm a staff likes to mold—power-friendly frame, likely strike-throwing focus, and enough upside to be interesting for teams needing depth and long-term upside.
