Chase Hinshaw brings size and big-play upside to UCF’s WR room
In the 2025 season, Chase Hinshaw was a developmental freshman who appeared in one game for UCF while spending most of his time on the scout team, so the Knights are still betting on projection more than production. He flashed in high school with 43 catches for 742 yards and 11 touchdowns in his senior year, including a 154-yard state-title game, which points to an outside receiver with real red-zone and vertical-threat juice. At 6-foot-2 and around 185 pounds, he looks like a good fit for a team that can wait on his frame, competitiveness, and ceiling to mature.
