Carter Lang brings size, rebounding, and blue-collar frontcourt value to Virginia
Lang is a 6-foot-9 forward whose value shows up in the gritty stuff: rebounding, interior defense, and energy plays. In 2023-24 at Vanderbilt, he averaged 3.5 rebounds in 11.6 minutes across 24 games with seven starts, and Virginia’s roster notes show he already contributed small but useful plays in 2025-26, including an assist, offensive boards, and his first career 3-pointer.
