2025 Summit League Player of the Year & NFCA All-Region Star
Abby Gentry, South Dakota State's third baseman, dominated the 2025 season by earning Summit League Player of the Year (the fourth Jackrabbit in five years) and NFCA 1st Team All-Region honors. Her differentiator isn't just her elite bat-to-ball consistency (career 12.3 batted ball stat) but her relentless intensity and walk-off clutch gene, including a grand slam that sealed a critical game. Gentry is injury-free, fiercely competitive, and possesses a personality that elevates teammates under pressure. If you need a leader who delivers in high-stakes moments and anchors your infield with championship DNA, she is the perfect fit for your team.
