In the 2025 season, Bishop Burkhalter played in 11 games as a true freshman for North Alabama and finished with 22 tackles, 12 solo stops, one tackle for loss, and one pass breakup, earning second-team preseason All-UAC recognition for 2026.[7][12] What makes him interesting is the early trust: he saw the field right away, produced as a young linebacker, and profiles as a physical, downhill defender with room to grow into a bigger role.[7][12]
