Wildcats' Battle-Tested LHP with Electric Strikeout Stuff
Abilene Christian's Collin Adams, a 5'10" lefty from Thousand Oaks, CA, flashed ace potential in 2024 at Yavapai College with a stellar 3-3 record, 2.43 ERA, and 50 K's over 40.2 IP before injury cut his freshman year short—now healthy and starting for the Wildcats in 2026. His compact frame belies plus velocity, sharp command, and swing-and-miss stuff that ranked him elite in high school circuits; scouts praise his competitor's fire and resilience, making him a high-upside rotation anchor or MLB draft steal for teams seeking gritty, strikeout-heavy lefties who thrive post-adversity.
