Greg Spiller brings explosive pedigree, but Delaware has yet to unlock his role
Spiller entered Delaware with a strong reputation as a two-way high school playmaker and captain who piled up more than 3,000 yards and 40 touchdowns in his final two prep seasons, but his college production has been limited so far. In 2025, he logged 22 carries for 110 yards and 1 touchdown across 11 games, and Delaware listed him as a sophomore running back after he did not see game action in 2024. His appeal is upside: compact size, solid speed, and proven versatility as a runner and receiver, though he still needs a bigger college sample to separate himself.
