Utility Spark for Lipscomb Bisons in 2026
Eric Harper, a 5'11", 190-lb Redshirt Sophomore utility player for the Lipscomb Bisons, delivered a clutch pinch-hit tying run in the 9th inning of a 4-4 ASUN Gold Division game in 2026, showcasing his elite intensity and game-changing presence despite a modest 2026 AVG of .129 and 0 HR. Harper’s differentiator is his fearless, high-pressure utility role—often entering as a pinch hitter in critical moments—with a personality defined by gratitude and resilience (he credits God and family for his commitment). No injury history is reported, and his intensity level is consistently high, making him a perfect fit for teams needing a reliable, versatile bench spark who thrives under pressure. In the 2026 season, Harper’s 3 RBI and 4 runs highlight his ability to contribute beyond stats, proving he’s a must-care athlete for any roster seeking grit and versatility.
