Oliver Pudvar is giving UConn a steady left-handed bullpen arm with real strikeout ability
Oliver Pudvar’s value lies in his steady left-handed relief profile: he has progressed from a 3.37 ERA over 44.2 innings with 43 strikeouts at Manhattan in 2024 to a larger UConn role, where D1Baseball lists him at 6-1 with a 4.54 ERA in 2026 after a 3.60 mark in 2025. Baseball America noted that he “has steadily improved” this season, which points to a pitcher trending up rather than merely surviving in the role. He looks like a fit for teams needing a competitive, strike-throwing LHP who can handle leverage and miss bats.
