Brandi Neil gives Merrimack a battle-tested arm in the circle
In the 2026 season, Brandi Neil has been a steady senior presence for Merrimack, posting a 3.64 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 25.0 innings, with a complete-game shutout and six strikeouts in a win over Niagara showing her ceiling when she’s locked in[2][6][13]. She’s not overpowering, but she competes hard, can work deep into games, and brings veteran grit that helps a staff hold together. The fit? A solid innings-eater with enough resilience and command to help a team that values toughness and reliability over flash[1][12].
